VINTERLYS Light Festival is a recurring family event that brings the imagination and magic of light to the wild West Jutland, combining art and culture with our strong DNA - the West Jutland nature.

It takes place every February in one of Denmark's largest municipalities Ringkøbing-Skjern.

Interactive LIGHT landscapes and innovative light art is made accessible to children, young people and families. The installations transfer the parks and many small nature spaces and paths and provide a sensory and visual experience.

The installations - together with workshops, mini-concerts, performances and new-circus - are created in collaboration with international artists, local cultural actors, schools and the different municipality departments.
