Constellations de Metz

Metz, France

Following the success of the 6th edition in 2022, which attracted nearly a million spectators, the
international Constellations de Metz festival is back for its 7th edition.

Over summer, Metz will be transformed and revealed in a new light and a new night, traversing
night-time and day-time trails, monumental artworks, original creations and large-scale projects.

Combining arts and aesthetics, from digital art to urban art, the festival aims to showcase the
heritage of Metz with the ambition of revealing, reworking and refining it.

Metz, a digital city and a city of lights:
The festival is internationally recognised in the field of digital art thanks to the Digital Stones night
tour. By co-producing several works and creations that will be presented in Metz and also during
other festivals and events, Constellations de Metz is part of an international network of digital art
festivals: Fête des Lumières in Lyon, Geneva Lux Festival (Geneva), Luminothérapie (Montreal),

Metz, a city of water and history:
From historical monuments to waterways, the installations and creations making up the Art &
Gardens daytime trail interact with a piece of the city's history.

Metz, an open-air museum:
With its large-scale projects, the urban art programme takes over Metz, questioning both the city
and its inhabitants. Metz thus becomes a true open-air museum.
