REFLEKTOR IS A NEW TYPE OF LIGHT ART EVENT IN SEARCH OF EMOTIONAL TRUTHS, QUIET CONTEMPLATIONS AND DARING EXPRESSIONS.

Set in a public parks, indoor venues, old industrial halls and other unique locations, REFLEKTOR LIGHT ART FESTIVAL challenges the public to venture into the darkness to explore the transition of mundane everyday space turned into dreamy experiences.

REFLEKTOR takes place in several different locations during a three week period. The festival presents light and video art by artists from Japan, Scotland, Germany, France, Italy and Finland.

The festival is free of charge and open to everyone.

REFLEKTOR is the story of a group of dedicated Nordic light geeks and explorers from Denmark and Finland coming together to explore the emotional truths and daring artistic expressions and boundaries of Nordic Light Art. The outcome is carefully curated light art experiences that calls for new sensibilities towards light and darkness.

Reflektor Presents: Pink Twins supported by Sun Effects
24 – 26 September, 2021
– Artworks are located at Vuotalo outdoor areas, next to Vuosaari metro station. Open to public daily from 18:00 to 22:00.

Reflektor Vantaa
30 September – 3 October, 2021
– Light art route is located in Viherpuisto, Martinlaakso. Open to public daily from 18:00 to 23:00. Artworks can also be seen at Lumosali in Korso.

Reflektor Espoo
7 – 10 October, 2021
– Light art route is located in Keran hallit, Karamalmi. Open to public daily from 18:00 to 23:00.

Reflektor Presents: Analogue Projections
7 – 10 October, 2021
– Kauniainen train station facade is projected by three different artists. Open to public daily from 18:00 to 23:00.
