Frédérique ter Brugge, director of Amsterdam Light Festival (2016-present).
She combines both a study and a professional background in commerce and arts. As an art and architecture historian she is fascinated by transforming the outdoor space with light art and create a new reality with a new story to enlighten people in the darkest period of the year.

As a board member of ILO she will be able to help professionalize the domain of light art in general and light festivals in specific. Knowledge topics are co-creation of light art, sustainability and the creation of a visitor experience.
