Diana Civle has been Director of Riga Department of Culture of Riga City council for 8 years, has M. A. soc.sc., musicologist. Diana Civle has extensive experience for implementation of artistic programmes of largescale cultural events from initialization to implementation (Latvian Nationwide Song and Dance Celebration, Riga city festival, White Night, World Choir Games Riga 2014, European choir Games Riga 2014, Gothenbug 2017, TV Choir Competition “Eurovision Choir of the Year” 2017, 2019 and others). Project manager in project “Baltic Light Chain”, Director of Riga 2014 Foundation, also head of the Artistic council for Riga 2014 – European Capital of Culture programme. She is the artistic concept author and creative producer of the Riga`s light festival “Staro Riga” from the first festival on 2008. Currently Diana Civle is independent project manager of largescale culture events.
