Andrea has studied MA Leisure and Tourism Studies in Leeuwarden (NL), Bilbao and London in the 90es and has worked is advisor and producer in visual arts and film ever since.

Since 2014 she is director of Media Art Friesland Foundation that produces the annual Media Art Festival (MAF), LUNA Leeuwarden Urban Night Adventure and other light- and media arts projects.

MAF focusses on emerging artists, experiment and innovation in arts and society; LUNA brings together outstanding Dutch and international artists for a true adventure of light and sound in the city centre of Leeuwarden. Collaboration and interaction between artists, audience and academic and corporate partners are key to this combination of events.

Andrea is always in for developing new creative concepts with local and international partners and finding ways of embedding outstanding and challenging arts projects sustainably in their surroundings.
